When his first work was printed on the local newspaper's humor page, he was the happiest twenty-one-years old there was.
It was s simple sketch of the mayor saying to his deputy that there was "something fishy in town". It was in the middle of a scandal with infested fish-cans, found in a town's store, prepared to be sent to the local shelters. These reveals costed the mayor his seat on the next elections. At the time the sketch was hilarious and it could have been a serious problem for its author, if the hadn't just sign it Non - an alias unknown to anyone back then.
In time Non became his armor against all that he found wrong - he became courageous and bold, his works were soon awaited by the public, his ironic ways and characteristic sketches made him famous in the whole country.
In the years that followed, Non got several times awarded, but never showed up in the ceremony. He never revealed himself in public and in a way became a pencil-armed-modern-time hero, who protects the innocent with irony and humor.
He never got rich by the sketches, but got famous and completely unknown at the same time. Although he is now an old man, there isn't a bigger reward, than waiting around a newspaper booth in the morning, after sending new sketch to hear from a complete stranger " Non nailed it again!" or "Non is killing me, good work, old man, good work"
